The Washington Wizards received the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NBA draft during a full lottery production in Chicago hosted by the league.

This is the second year in a row that the team with Anthony Davis on its roster has gotten the No. 1 pick.

In Washington, Dybantsa will help fill just about every need. He's a 6'9", ultra-athletic, powerful wing with elite footwork for creation, shotmaking and finishing. And he also happened to lead the NCAA in scoring this past season with 25.5 points per game.

The Washington Wizards finally did it. This past Mother’s Day, they secured the rights to the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. It took a season-long tank and a little bit of luck — it’s the first time since 2018 that the worst team won the lottery.
