The Washington Wizards may not be competing for a championship in the 2026 NBA playoffs, but they landed quite the prize that could one day result in a Larry O'Brien Trophy of their own.
The Washington Wizards received the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NBA draft during a full lottery production in Chicago hosted by the league.
This is the second year in a row that the team with Anthony Davis on its roster has gotten the No. 1 pick.
