The Spurs listed Wembanyama as questionable to play in Friday’s Game 3 on the team’s official injury report. He did light cardio activity on Wednesday night and returned to the Spurs’ practice facility on Thursday for additional work and evaluation ahead of the team’s flight to Portland.

The Spurs announced that Wembanyama had entered the league’s concussion protocol and would not return to Tuesday’s Game 2, according to KSAT. ESPN also reported on the team’s decision as news of his status spread beyond the Frost Bank Center crowd.
