Ukrainian drone attacks killed at least one person in southern Russia and caused damage to industrial sites, regional authorities said Wednesday morning. Saratov region Governor Roman Busargin said one person was killed and several others were injured in a Ukrainian strike.

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — A Russian drone strike on the city of Sumy in northeastern Ukraine killed three members of the same family, including a 13-year-old boy, while a Ukrainian strike on a Russian industrial plant killed five people, officials said Monday.

The attacks appear to be the latest phase of Ukraine's bid to choke off supplies and routes into and out of occupied Crimea.
