Ukrainian drone strikes in western Russia have left at least eight dead and over 60 injured, local officials reported.

Russian attacks killed five people and ​injured 20 in the southeastern ‌Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia early on Tuesday and also struck Kyiv, triggering fires ​in the capital, officials said.

While the Air Defense Forces said 98 of 120 Russian drones were downed overnight, it omitted data on the number of missiles fired.
