Russia says it shot down more than 800 Ukrainian drones overnight in what appears to be among Ukraine’s largest aerial attacks on Russia, with authorities reporting at least six people killed.

Deadly Russian airborne attacks on Dnipropetrovsk province, Kyiv and the western city of Lviv appeared to have strayed into Polish territory.

Russian attacks across Ukraine have killed at least 11 people and injured 81 others over the past day, local authorities said on Aug. 8, as yet another deadly overnight strike pounded Kyiv and its surrounding region.
