President Donald Trump says a “swift and lethal kinetic” U.S. strike has killed Héctor Rusthenford Guerrero Flores, whom he called “the infamous leader” of the Tren de Aragua gang.

The leader of the Venezuela-based Tren de Aragua gang has died in a US strike, US President Donald Trump says. The gang has been labeled a terrorist organization by Washington.

The attack on Hector Rusthenford Guerrero Flores is the apparent first American operation inside the country since the capture of Maduro in January.

Gang leader Flores had controlled the vast criminal syndicate from Venezuela for years.
