Cuba’s top diplomat says the island is open to economic cooperation, outlining a roadmap for closer ties even as Trump pushes regime change.

'If the time comes, I don't think there would be any justification for the United States to launch a military aggression against Cuba,' Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel said.

The comments come in the wake of news that U.S. and Cuban officials have met to discuss future relations between the two longtime Cold War foes.
