President Donald Trump’s endorsement wasn’t enough to power Mike Lindell to the Republican nomination for governor in Minnesota.

The tug-of-war consuming Democrats nationwide continues in the Aug. 11 primaries across the country, where voters in Wisconsin and Minnesota are deciding between warring factions.

Demuth, 59, has presided over a state House that is almost evenly divided between Republicans and Democrats and she spoke in her campaign about her ability to work across the aisle.
