Residents across Ukraine were woken overnight by renewed Russian attacks as air raid alerts sounded nationwide and explosions were reported in the capital Kiev.

Damage was recorded across six districts of Kyiv, according to head of Kyiv's Military Administration Tymur Tkachenko.
