The ‌Ukrainian capital Kyiv came under a massive attack ​from Russian drones and ​missiles early on Thursday, officials said.

More than 100 Russian drones targeted areas of Ukraine on Wednesday, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, hours after another barrage of civilian areas killed at least eight people.

Since the start of the day, at least 800 drones have penetrated the country’s airspace, and the attack is ongoing, Zelensky wrote on social media.
