Russia has unleashed a massive drone and missile barrage on civilian areas of Ukraine and is stepping up ground attacks along the front.

A large-scale drone and missile attack struck Russia’s Rostov region in late April 2026, setting an oil facility ablaze and knocking out power and heating to residents in at least two cities, including the port city of Taganrog.

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — A Russian drone attack on Ukraine’s southern port city of Odesa killed two women and a toddler, authorities said Monday, while Ukrainian long-range drones targeted Russia’s key Black Sea port for oil exports.
