Russia and Ukraine exchanged 185 prisoners of war each following mediation from the United Arab Emirates, the Russian Defense Ministrysaid on Friday. The latest exchange comes almost a month after U.S.

Russian and Ukraine announced on Tuesday they had each swapped 90 prisoners with the other side in an exchange mediated by the United Arab Emirates.

Russia and Ukraine have exchanged more prisoners of war, with Moscow recovering 185 of its own soldiers and handing over an equal number of Ukrainian prisoners, the Russian Defence Ministry said on Friday,

Ukraine and Russia swap 205 prisoners each in the first stage of a planned 1,000-for-1,000 exchange, mediated by the United Arab Emirates.

Another prisoner exchange took place between Ukraine and russia, the aggressor nation. A total of 185 military personnel and 1 civilian have returned home.

Russia and Ukraine carried out a latest prisoner exchange on Monday in a deal brokered with the help of the United Arab Emirates.
