Russia’s Defense Ministry said that Russia and Ukraine had a prisoner exchange on Thursday, each side releasing 205.

Russia and Ukraine have exchanged more prisoners of war, with Moscow recovering 185 of its own soldiers and handing over an equal number of Ukrainian prisoners, the Russian Defence Ministry said on Friday,

Another prisoner exchange took place between Ukraine and russia, the aggressor nation. A total of 185 military personnel and 1 civilian have returned home.

Russian and Ukraine announced on Tuesday they had each swapped 90 prisoners with the other side in an exchange mediated by the United Arab Emirates.

Russia and Ukraine carried out a prisoner swap under a 1,000-for-1,000 deal initiated by US President Donald Trump, with humanitarian assistance from the UAE.

This brings the total number of prisoners exchanged between the two countries through UAE-mediated efforts to 7,471
