A man died Saturday after he was bit by a shark while spearfishing off the western coast of Australia, marking the third such death in four weeks.

A victim of a suspected shark attack was taken by boat to Albany Waterfront Marina in Western Australia to meet paramedics but was unable to be revived.

The 35-year-old man was spearfishing with his family when he was bitten by a suspected 4.5-metre-long shark off Michaelmas Island, close to Albany.
