A magnitude 6.5 earthquake struck Lorengau region in Papua New Guinea on Monday, the United States Geological Survey said.

An earthquake of magnitude 6.5 struck Lorengau in the Papua New Guinea region. The earthquake struck 187 kilomentres southeast of Lorengau at a depth of 47.8km, USGS said.
