Israeli airstrikes hit Beirut's southern suburbs on Sunday, hours after the Hezbollah militia launched another drone attack on northern Israel.

Israel will not withdraw from southern Lebanon as part of the newly agreed to US-Iran deal despite Iranian demands, an Israeli source told The Jerusalem Post on Monday.

Benchmark Brent crude oil fell more than US$3 a barrel on the news as Asian stock markets rallied.
