BEIRUT/JERUSALEM, June 3 (Reuters) - Israeli drone strikes killed at least six people in southern Lebanon and targeted a car just south of Beirut on Wednesday, Lebanese security sources said, while Israel said it intercepted a hostile aircraft likely fired by Hezbollah.
The Israeli Defence Forces stated they hit Hezbollah infrastructure throughout southern Lebanon, occurring shortly after issuing evacuation orders for inhabitants of six border villages
The attack comes after Hezbollah struck Israel's military with fighter drones, according to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office.
BEIRUT, May 28 (Reuters) - An Israeli strike hit a building in the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital on Thursday, the first strike to hit near Beirut in weeks amid a ceasefire that has failed to halt fighting between Israeli troops and Hezbollah in south Lebanon.
Pakistan’s interior minister is in Tehran to restart negotiations between Iran and the U.S. The visit comes as the American military reported shooting down two more Iranian drones over the Strait of Hormuz.
The U.S. military is carrying out new strikes on Iran after the downing of a U.S. helicopter. Charlie D'Agata reports.
