Israeli airstrikes hit Beirut's southern suburbs on Sunday, hours after the Hezbollah militia launched another drone attack on northern Israel.

The Israeli Air Force on Monday evening intercepted numerous rockets that were launched by the Hezbollah terrorist organization toward the area in which IDF soldiers are operating in southern Lebanon.

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the strikes were in response to Hezbollah attacks in northern Israel.
