President Donald Trump’s nominee Kevin Warsh gained Senate confirmation Wednesday to be chairman of the Federal Reserve, where he is immediately set to face a dilemma between trying to curb inflation and fulfilling Trump’s wishes by lowering interest rates.

Kevin Warsh is set to become the new Federal Reserve chair.

"Warsh's biggest challenge will likely be dealing with President Trump," said David Wessel, senior fellow at the Brookings Institution.
