By Pavel Polityuk and Felix Light Aug 16 (Reuters) - Russia carried out a wave of airstrikes on Ukraine overnight, killing two people at a steel plant, and Kyiv launched a heavy drone attack on the Moscow region that killed one person and set ablaze a warehouse used by Russia's leading e-commerce retailer.
Russia's attack triggered a series of heavy explosions across the city, with Ukraine’s air force stating that 41 missiles of different types were used in the strike. Several areas were damaged, with fires breaking out across multiple locations.
At least nine people have been killed and more than 30 others injured in the ballistic missile attack, including four children, authorities reported.
